OK, I just read turner IS transferring to a North Carolina power team. Now I really want to see Sac upset Lincoln!
Rob...I thought that about the MLK Classic in Berkeley last week, but Sac beat highly rated Bisop o'Dowd in double overtime. Other players are stepping up and they're actually more cohesive than before. Also, Turner is not transferring and will finish the school year; but his high school ballplaying is over...he was a detriment to his team & hopefully won't qualify for the McDonald's game. For his team's sake, I hope they upset Lincoln. I've seen them. Even if Turner played, Lincoln would be a clear favorite---BUT GO DRAGONS!!!
That premier match-up just lost all of its luster because Sacramento's high super star Josiah Turner who will play in the McDonald's game just left school and transferred.
Its going to be a good game between Bonita vs Amat girls basketball. The key factor will be Bonita's post players. Amat has two outstanding wing players but no post player at all. Good luck lady lancers.
