Read Aram,”Inside the Huddle” … Just when things couldn’t be going any better for former Charter Oak High School running back Adam Muema, it all came crashing down. Muema, while attending a party at a home in Covina last May, intervened in a fight taking place between the home’s owner and some unwanted guests. Next thing he knew, he was on his way to an emergency room after somebody hit him on the head with a baseball bat.

    I read about his story in today newspaper and I just couldn’t believe the bad luck this young man had recently.

    It’s truly amazing how a single isolated event can suddenly change a persons life so very quickly.

    I for one, hope that in the long run, that he is able to fulfill his dreams and be able get through all of this without any long term consequences.

    God Bless Adam. He gave us some great thrills, even though He played against us. It was third down and so many yards, Charter Oak was ours.Then came Adam for a first down. Not once , but too many times.
    He will be okay and will play again.

  • Stay Away

    The bottom line, is to have enough common sense to stay away from these types of parties.

    Too much to lose!
