Inland Insider on the game: The Ayala Bulldogs (7-3, 18-8,) defeated their Cross town rivals the Chino Hills Huskies,( 7-3, 21-6), 50-41 behind Andrew Ortiz’s 27 pts. Both teams end up tied for 2nd in the Sierra league and will enter the playoffs next week, Ayala in the 2A division and Chino Hills in 1A.

    exciting game to be at. ortiz is clearly the best all around player in the sierra league. so a co-mvp with reyes, would make perfect sense. things must be easy for the new guy. thats a very nice/well coached group he inherited/walked into. they play very well together. and with 2A not being very strong, a long run in cif is quite feasable. great atmosphere tonight. good luck in cif to both chino hills schools…
