13 Hits against South Hills... I'd say we hit. And we have more than 1 pitcher. Don't you worry about us - although, it seems that you do.
Good Luck today Spartans!

Witness, I saw that article in the times. No doubt that Rio is probably the best prospect in the area...see PerfectGame.org. And Nieto is running a great program. With that said, if hypothetically speaking, La Salle beats Amat this year, does that make LS the #2 team in the area?

LA Times:
Rio Ruiz delivers home run for Bishop Amat

Facing Long Beach Wilson ace Chase DeJong, La Puente Bishop Amat third baseman Rio Ruiz found himself in an 0-and-2 count. He stayed patient, waited for his pitch and hit a three-run home run, and that was the difference in a 3-0 victory.

Rio is hitting .524 against some of the top talent in the southland.

La Salle vs Bishop Amat and their #2 ranking, has been postponed until Wednesday - weather permitting.

congrats to Amat who is currently ranked 2nd in the L.A Times southern section rankings behind Edison.

Go Spartans! After a big win last Thursday vs South Hills, Damien faces a bigger test in Chino Hills. CH opened up with a big win vs Claremont. The winner between Damien & CH will be the team to beat in the SL race. The SL should be a tight race as always. Go Spartans!

I’ve been out of the country for 6 months, who’s this Bulldog1 guy? Since when did West Covina get a Baseball team worth talking about? Is this the same Jackass who was doing all the talking during football season?
Steve, looks like you’re having fun, nice shirt!
