CIF SoCal Regional soccer pairings: Baldwin Park and Claremont boys, Bishop Amat, Ayala and San Dimas girls receive bids

The CIF State office has just released parings for this week’s Southern California Regional soccer playoffs, and the big winners for the area were the Claremont boys, who received the No. 1 seed in Division II. The Wolfpack opens at home against Coronado on Monday. Also receiving bids were were the Baldwin Park boys team and the Bishop Amat and Ayala girls teams.
The Braves are the No. 8 seed and travel to No. 1 Buchanan of Clovis on Tuesday. Bishop Amat, which won the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 title on Friday, is the No. 6 seed in Division II and travels to Frontier of Bakersfield on Monday. San Dimas is the No. 7 seed in the division and travels to La Jolla, also on Monday. Ayala is the No. 7 seed in Division I and travels to Torre Pines on Tuesday.
