Any news on the BP game?

  • BRAVETOWN

BRAVES GO DOWN 2-0. PLAYED AS HARD AS THEY COULD, BUT IT JUST DIDNT HAPPEN. CONGRATS ON BEING C.I.F CHAMPS

    GO BRAVES !!!!

  • tommykiss

    Torrey Pines beat Ayala 4-1

As many predicted, once BP had to play quality teams from schools of the same size, the Braves would be sent home. One and done for BP.

  • BRAVETOWN@YAHOO

YOUR RIGHT, ONE AND DONE.. TIME TO GET OUR RINGS ORDERED…. C.I.F. CHAMPS. IF YOUR GONNA LOSE THAT ONE THAT MATTERS, MIGHT AS WELL BE A STATE GAME AND NOT THE C.I.F. CHAMPIONSHIP.

    GO BRAVES !!!!

I don’t know about that. I’m pretty sure a State game is much more important than a CIF game. Not everybody qualifies for a State game but then again looking at your schedule you sure are happy with just a CIF championship. Congrats.

  • BRAVETOWN

YOU SURE ARE RIGHT ABOUT THAT. LISTEN TO WHAT U SAID, “NOT EVERYONE QUALIFIES FOR A STATE GAME”. HOW LUCKY ARE THOSE YOUNG MEN FROM B.P. TO BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE THAT. WHEN EVERY SEASON STARTS, EVERY COACHES GOAL IS TO WIN A C.I.F CHAMPIONSHIP. ESPECIALLY WHEN C.I.F. TITLES ARE NOT A YEARLY THING. GO AHEAD AND LOOK AT THE SCHEDULE,SEE THE TEAMS THEY PLAYED AND HAVE PLAYED IN YEARS PAST AND BEAT THEM. THIS IS A SOMETHING NOONE CAN EVER TAKE AWAY FROM THESE KIDS, THE EXPERIENCE OF GOING TO A STATE GAME, EARNING A C.I.F TITLE, AGAINST SOME VERY, VERY GOOD TEAMS. TEAMS THAT QUALIFIED FOR STATE. NOW KEEP EATING YOUR SOUR GRAPES. AND QUESTION FOR U, HOW MANY C.I.F TITLES DO U HAVE?

    GO BRAVES !!!!

Congrats to everyone who made it to regionals. Ayala, those SD girls are a tough, well schooled area. BP – you boys made the VVL proud, hold your heads up high and make Bulldog1 kiss the ring. Oh, and FYI its regionals, not state, in soccer. Hate how the teams that didn’t make it past second round love to hate on winners. Track and Field, here we come!!!

By the way, it is the SoCal Regional State Tournament. It is hosted by the State CIF. It is what currently counts as the state tournament. Northern California schools play soccer in the fall…so they are not on board as of yet.

The SoCal Regional State Tournament invites four different sections to send their top representatives to the tournament. Winning the Regional is a step above a sectional title…and it is a true measure of a school’s soccer strength as it pits schools of similar enrollments against each other.

I congratulate the Braves for accomplishing what they never could have as long as Salesian was in your division. If I recall correctly, they put two rings on their fingers in the last three years after sending you home both times.

Soccer fan, why did you feel you had to put that last comment in there anyway ?

That’s so chicken Schitz of you, you know that.

  • BRAVETOWN

YEAH GOOD THING SALESIAN WAS MOVED OUT, BECAUSE WE WERE 0-2 AGAINST THEM. TOO BAD THOUGH, WOULDVE BEEN A GREAT GAME IF WE MET AGAIN. OH WELL, C.I.F. CHAMPS IS NOT BAD. U NEVER ANSWERED THOUGH, HOW MANY C.I.F. TITLES DID YOU ACHIEVE WHEN U WERE IN H.S.?

    GO BRAVES !!!!

My daughter who played for Flintridge Prep told me “Of all the teams we played, I wish the best for Ayala. I felt that I could have made a lot of BFF’s with them”
