yeaaahhh!! bonita vs. san dimas tonight should be a great game! the rookie has been great for bonita, but she stumbled against south hills. no worries, the game tonight is what counts! the bearcats are doing a fine job and look to be the favorites this upcoming season.

    bearcats 4
    saints 1

south hills beat rev 7-1. good way to respond to a loss

after losing 2 in a row,Amat bounces back with 2 wins against orange lutheran and mission viejo.

Well after watching a few games this week, I believe that our E.SGV teams will get it going next week when league begins, and get on a roll that could go deep into CIF!

I see Bonita, and South Hills are offensive threats, as they are averaging 7 and 9.5 RPG respective.

I see Amat which began 0-2, is in pretty good shape as their top of the lineup is as good as anyone around. They beat Mission Viejo, who like amat began ranked nationally.

I think both charter Oak, and San Dimas, will continue to make noise this year, and that Northview, and Los Altos should fare well as well.

I also think the Baseline is the real deal as BOTH Alta Loma, and Los Osos, are in the championship in the Dicks’ Sporting Goods tourney. Not sure if this helps or hinders Glendora.
Going to be fun when league begins Tuesday.

Good Luck to ALL our SGV teams.

Is it just me or is Bonita dominating rival San Dimas this year in almost everything? Now let me throw my disclaimer out there before a Saint comes on here and starts talking about SD winning 3 smudgepots in a row and all of that other stuff, but in the 2010-2011 Bonita has absolutely anhiallated SD. Even if SD baseball beats Bonita (which I highly doubt), it still doesn’t close the gap.

    Smudgepot- Blowout Bonita
    Volleyball- Blowout Bonita
Boys and Girls Basketball- Blowout Bonita
    Boys and Girls Soccer- Bonita
    Softball- Bonita

And that’s not to mention the test scores that Bonita consistently tops SD in either. I guess it’s safe to say we know who has bragging rights in Bonita Unified

BHS, You do sound like you ARE blowing your own horn, typical!
We win with class and humility always.
baseballNUT, with only one Nut, you’ve left off possibly the finest team in the entire SGV.
    Bulldog Fever….

hey Fred why are you not updating softball anymore ? it seems like you have lost interest. Before you where all over certain girls/schools what happen ? any explanation ?

    SB Fan,
Fred is off this week. I’ve been posting the updates. I was slow with the softball results/schedule today, because I had to drive up to Ventura to cover Citrus’ state semifinal, which the Owls won and just had time to do it now.
Next up is Mt. SAC women’s semifinal, and the finals on Sunday.
