Baseball: CIF Polls, Bonita, Bishop Amat lead way; only other ranked team is Nogales?
Note: Only three area teams ranked, but Bonita and Amat are both No. 1. It's kind of shocking, I can't remember the last time the area only had three ranked teams. The other was Nogales at No. 10 in Division 4. Glendora was unranked in Division 2.

Division 3: 1. Bonita, 2. Beckman, 3. Temescal Canyon, 4. Corona del Mar, 5. San Gorgonio, 6. Quartz Hill, 7. Lakeside, 8. Alhambra, 9. Paramount, 10. Rancho Alamitos.
Division 4: 1. Bishop Amat, 2. Palm Desert, 3. Oaks Christian, 4. Torrance, 5. Laguna Beach, 6.Chino, 7. Indio, 8. La Quinta, 9. Troy, 10. Nogales.

You got one thing corrct in your post. The only rankings that matter are the end of the year rankings , so bowing out early or making it to the final but not bringing it home do not add up to Championships nor insinuating your team should be ranked by CIF. Maybe if your team played any of the teams on the list you could have a shot at the list. AMAT does not make the rankings , CIF does so why not take your beef to them . Just relax and all will be settled next month when the 2 teams face each other. Until then sit back and take joy that at least one of our local teams is on the list.

bonita a great team this year ,but they are not ranked in the southern section poll because they have not played any of the top 25 teams.Amat has beaten orange lutheran,chatsworth,mission viejo,long beach wilson , all previously ranked .

Amat lost in the 2nd round in the 2010 season.

No one from Amat brought anything up so cool your jets. They have no say in the polls. Plus you are referring to last season and not this year.
Last I checked Bishop Amat was thanked for it's participation in the division IV playoffs with a semi-finalist patch last season. Palm Desert being the DIV Champs. Bonita was in the Championship losing 1-2 to Ocean View...big difference there.
Oh and as many of the Amat Faithful tell me the only rankings that matter are the ones at the end of the season and a CIF ring right?
