Come on, seriously? SD will never put up fences because it would affect their inflated stats, unless they can put up a 150ft right field fence like the CHS field.

If San Dimas would put fences up the out come of that tourney would have been different as well.No fences give high school ball the old rec ball feel.

I know, their soccer is all turf, but the softball fields are grass. Got it confused because they were mowed so good and looked so green I thought they were artificial. In any case, they were still pretty slick and are so properly maintained that it does turn ordinary doubles into inside-the-park jobs. BTW, it's not almost laughable, it's laughable how much I enjoy you calling me out...I think it's great.

So true, it is not fair to the pitchers they need to put a fence up. If there was a fence those homeruns would be doubles maybe a triple but not a homerun.

I couldn't agree more on the fence issue....not only is it demoralizing to the pitcher that is getting hit, when a fence would keep the game more competitive.

St. Lucy's won this tournament last year, why are they not playing in it this year?

I don't understand why WC Big League Dreams does not install the 200' removable fences for softball. By not doing so, singles and doubles turn into home runs, especially on those slick fields. Kind of silly to call those hits homers, but they technically are.
