Softball: No. 1 Amat keeps on rolling, takes out St. Joseph 3-1 for first in Del Rey

The past couple of seasons, the difference between St. Joseph’s softball team and Bishop Amat’s – and first and second place in the Del Rey League – has been a base hit there, a good defensive play there and all sorts of little things in between. In the first of their three meetings this season, the Lancers made all the plays and defeated the two-time defending champion Jesters, 3-1, Tuesday afternoon at St. Joseph High.
