Softball: Robles' grand slam keys South Hills' 6-2 win over Chino Hills in battle of the Huskies

WEST COVINA --
It's a bit early in the high school softball
season for a must-win game.
But the South Hills was in that situation Wednesday, and thanks to
sophomore Lexi Robles, South Hills put itself back in the Sierra
League title chase.
Robles went 3 for 4, including a grand slam in the fourth, to lead
South Hills to a 6-2 victory over first-place Chino Hills in a key
league game in a battle of Huskies.
South Hills, also getting RBIs from catcher Britney Rodriguez and Sam
Nieves, improved to 10-5 overall and 4-2 in league play. Chino Hills,
getting a home run from Shianne Brannan, slipped to 9-4 and 4-1.
