Track: Covina’s Remontay McClain runs sizzing 10.31 in 100 prelims; Amat’s Kylie Price finishes with second best overall mark in 100

STATE PRELIM STORY: In Friday’s qualifying session at Clovis’ Buchanan High, McClain equaled his season best, running a 10.31.
That is the second fastest time in the nation this year.
“In the 100 I have to get out of the box, drive and I could probably get it,” he said of the record. “My head was up too quickly in the 100. I have to get the little things right.”
