Wallace Gonzalez signs with Astros

Bishop Amat outfielder Wallace Gonzalez, drafted in the 29th round by the Houston Astros, signed with the club on Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not released.

    That is SOOOOO cool! What a way to represent Amat and the SGV. I’m sure the winning baseball program and the CIF title had a lot with him getting noticed. Congrats to you and your family and Andy Nieto for working with the kids in the SGV. Lets face it, he could have gone anywhere but decided to come to Amat and share his knowledge of baseball with local kids.
