I'm surprised that Los Altos didn't get ranked. They look pretty good and will be ready to give their division a run for their money.

St. Lucy's: You never know with preseason polls how teams will be ranked. Despite St. Lucy's graduating seniors Dalton, Callen and Young, the Regents are still deep in talent. Macy returns as the star setter, Warmington as RS and a defensive line that won't quit with SiFuentes, Rivera and Bast. Look for new shining stars Arden Davis (outside hitter) and Marisa Hagemann as middle blocker to kill it in the front. CIF may have it right with this lineup as #1.

Chino Hills will give St. Lucy's another run for the money and shows just how deep in talent the Sierra League is. Anderson will return stronger than ever as setter and hitter and Trueman to set records for Chino Hills as a powerful hitter for the Huskies.

The Darkhorse: Claremont. This might surprise a few in the high school community but those in the volleyball community see them as a real threat for the Sierra League title and possibly CIF in the near future. They were very young last year. With an additional club season under their belts look to the Holmes sisters to tear it up as the outside hitters, solid middle defense with Shapiro and Valvo as libero.
