Oh no, Aram reporting that Charter Oak’s Travis Santiago injured at practice, may not play

Aram got the tough news from Charter Oak, read it on his “In the Huddle” blog: “It was a freaky thing,” Charter Oak coach Lou Farrar said. “You can’t plan that.”

Oh no that sucks… just like Bonita’s Garrett Horine was injured at practice before the West Covina game. Hopefully the rest of their players are healthy. Bonita had a few starters out that same day, it affected the team.

Just got back from watching Charter Oak totally dominate Chino Hills. I am not familar with the creditabilty of the coach from Charter Oak, however from where I was sitting both Scoby and Santiago were amazingly mobile and did not show any ill effects of having sprained ankles. Just wondering how Fred J. and Aram will explain the remarkable recovery of these players.

Listen Old Man in Chino, put your glasses on because it was quite obvious that Santiago was in pain. He is a tough kid and had it not been for his ankle, he would have run circles around Chino Hills. Do us all a favor ask the coaches to loan you the films so you can watch the game again but this time with your glasses on!

    To Intelligence:
You misunderstood my observation. I was not questioning the ability of Santiago and Scoby to play, it was rather the apparent overstating of their coach about the severity of their injuries. Tonight I saw Charter Oak totally dominate Chino Hills and as the expression goes “speed kills” and the quickness of Charter Oak killed any chance that Chino Hills may have had to win the game. Chino Hills runs a ball control offense and once they fell behind and had to pass, that played into Charter Oak’s strength. I have no problem acknowledging that Charter Oak was the best team in the Sierra League this season, I can only hope that both Santiago and Scoby are healthy enough to be at their best come the start of the play-offs. The Inland Division is a rough division to play in. So Charter Oak heres to hoping that you represent the Sierra League well and go deep in the play-offs.
