Bonita rallies to beat Covina: The Bearcats (3-0) showed they have reloaded as they went on a 13-0 run to begin the third quarter, overcoming a six-point halftime deficit, and coasted to a 49-39 win over Covina in a second-round game of the Covina Tip Off Tournament on Wednesday night.

Jared Ponce’s 3-pointer from the right corner proved to be the deciding basket in the Bulldogs’ win over the Lancers.
Ponce finished with 10 points and four rebounds.
Sean McMullen of Ayala (3-1) led all scorers with 18 points, on six 3-pointers, and pulled down five rebounds.

Northview 81, Sunny Hills 67

Treavon Francis led the Vikings (5-0) with 40 points and Nick Fuentes added 23 points.
James Cunnigan chipped in with 14 points and 13 rebounds to aid Northview’s win.

Summit 54, Glendora 53
The Tartans (5-1) led at the half 25-24 behind the scoring of Kyle Gordon (17 points) but weren’t able to hold on for the win.
Steven Hernandez and Wesley Burke added 10 points each for Glendora.

Mountain View 49, Duarte 32
Behind Elijah Morales’ 17 points and five rebounds, the Vikings (4-1) defeated the Falcons (0-1). Jonathan Almanza chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds for Mountain View.

Rosemead 48, St. Lucy’s 29

Melody Gauthier led the Panthers (1-1) with 13 points.
Carrie Morris had a team-high 13 points to go with four steals, three rebounds and three assists to lead the Cubs’ win over the Regents. Erika Lin added 12 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal for Mayfield.

The Lancers’ Paulina Santana scored a team-high 12 points, while Michelle Yamamoto added 10 points and six steals.
Also contributing for Bishop Amat was Leeah Powell with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

South Hills 54, Arroyo 33

Imani Payton was the leading scorer for the Huskies (2-2) with 19 points and Brittany Wang contributed seven points and seven assists.

Casie Lowden led the Tartans (4-1) with 20 points and Olivia Haybern added 10 points.
Kika Preciado was high scorer for Mission with six points.

The Saints (3-0-1) received goals from Lindsey Toneck, Maribel Duran, Jeanette Jimenez, Daisy Duran, and Audrey Vasquez in their victory over the Bearcats.
San Dimas goalkeeper Berlyn Pedroza recorded 11 saves.
