Mighty La Verne Lutheran defeated South Carolina's Lower Richland 64-56 to finish third in the Chick-Fil-A Tournament in South Carolina, which is considered one of the most prestigious high school tournaments in the country. Arizona-bound Grant Jerrett finished with 25 points and 9 rebounds in the Trojans' win over Lower Richland, and was named the Tournament MVP -- quite an accomplishment considering MVPs normally go to the tournament champion. Lutheran's Mckay Anderson had five 3-pointers to go with his 22 points and nine rebounds to help the Trojans' win. Eric Eves scored 18 points and Vincent Hicklin contributed 16 points for Lower Richland.
