GIRLS SOCCER
Hacienda League
Diamond Bar 3, Rowland 1

The score being 0-0 at the half, the Brahma’s woke up and scored three goals in the final 15 minutes on a penalty kick converted by Stevie Thomas.
A nice finish off of a long throw by Helena Kisor and a left footed shot that found the upper corner from 20 yards out by Marissa Favela to put the game away. Leading the Raiders was Alexis Carago scoring the lone goal for Rowland. The Brahmas remained undefeated in the Hacienda at 4-0 and are 11-3-3 overall. The Raiders are 3-4 and 1-3.

Walnut 3, Bonita 3
The Bearcats’ Camille Trotter had a goal and assist and Ciara Jackson and Shavonn Johnson also had goals in a game that was tied 2-2 at half, with each scoring in the second half and failing to find a game winner in OT. Bonita remained unbeaten in league with a 3-0-1 record and 8-7-1 overall. Walnut is 4-4-3 and 2-1-2. Walnut scoring was unavailable and is not on Maxpreps.
Los Altos 3, West Covina 0

Montview League
Sierra Vista 4, Duarte 0
Sierra Vista (10-2-2, 7-0) got two goals from Cynthia Hernandez with the assists coming from Jessica Lopez and Daisy Ruiz. The Dons got all four of their goals in first-half with Lopez adding a goal with an assist from Jasmine Loera and Ruiz scoring the final goal assisted by Xochito Martinez. Sierra Vitsa took a total of 22 shots on goal and goalie Rosalma Ramirez helped preserve the shutout with two saves.
The Falcons only had two shots on goal, but got good defense from their keeper Valera Sanchez with eight saves. Duarte dropped 4-8-1 overvall and 1-4-1 in league play.
La Puente 4, Azusa 2 (OT)
Arye Looney scored all four goals for the Warriors with two coming in the overtime period.
Michelle Palma was credited with one assist in overtime. La Puente (5-4-3, 5-1-1) had 14 shots on goal and goalie Christine Montero had a big game with seven saves.
Jaline Miranda scored both goals for the Aztecs who had 11 shots on goal.
With the loss Azusa dropped to 3-2-1 in league play.
Workman 2, Gladstone 1
Amber Mirano and Victoria Gutierrez each scored to lead the Lobos to their first victory of the season. The Lobos broke a 1-1 tie with a goal in the second half. Andrea Vasquez scored for the Gladiators. The Lobos’ are 1-10-1 and 1-5. The Gladiators dipped to 1-8 and 1-5.
Valle Vista League
San Dimas 4, Covina 0

The Saints overwelmed the Colts with 50 shots on goal and took an early 2-0 at halftime and never looked back. Audrey Vasquez, Lindsey Toneck, Daisey Duran and Melissa Watson scored for San Dimas and Toneck contributed with three saves.
The Saints improved to 12-2-2 overall and 6-0 in league play.
Wilson 3, Pomona 1
All the scoring for both teams was done in the second half with the Wildcats getting their three goals from Sara Martinez, Briena Satoyo-Vedolla and Allison Kung. Assists came from Kung and Martinez. Pomona got their lone goal on a penalty kick by Jackie Rodella. Goalie Genevie DeDios had 12 saves for Wilson and Pomona’s keeper Kaylin Richard contributed with four saves. Wilson led with 14 shots on goal to six shots on goal by Pomona.
Wilson improved to 5-1 in league play and Pomona dropped to 2-3.
