Kylie Doniak, who graduated at Ayala High School in 2008 and is currently a senior and standout soccer player at the University of Texas, was struck by a drunk driver while crossing the street near school on Friday and remains in critical condition at the intensive care unit at the Brackenridge Medical Center in Texas. The hit and run incident took place at 2 a.m. on Friday at the intersection of Eighth and San Jacinto streets.
