South Hills principal Steve James and boys basketball coach Paul Reed both resign

South Hills boys basketball coach Paul Reed resigned over a week ago and principal Steve James resigned late last week. Football coach Steve Bogan resigned at the beginning of the year and the word is there could be more resignations before the school year is through.

    From what I heard, James wasn’t liked very well by anyone at South Hills. I have a feeling Reed stepped down because of James. It’s unfortunate for Coach Reed.

    @husky insider, you are very wrong he is liked by many and is going to be missed. He made some awesome changes goes our students.@JMO just read the letter given to our students.

    SH hasn’t been good for the last 30 years, every once in a while they get a descent kid with no one around him. Hell, outside of a couple of programs this whole damn valley has sucked in BB for years

    Haha. That letter! Is he resigning from being the President of the United States? Name some people of campus that liked the guy. He did nothing for the kids. He didn’t know anyones name. He didn’t even know his. He wore that damn nametag everywhere. “HI I’M…. STEVE”. Name some things he did for the students please. I need a good laugh.

    god forbid something negative, although true, about fisch come onto these blogs…fred, the protector, makes sure to delete them. not the first time, and im sure, not the last. everyone bagging on ken and other coaches and they stay on. someone says something about fisch’s practices and states a fact, that kids quit every year, that he has lost coaches, and the comment is deleted? @bestiesFred&Fisch

    Unless you know what is going on better to not comment. I have always found Paul Reed to be a gentleman.I am not saying he was the best coach but this is high school and to stay on the job for 15 years must be doing a few things right. His wife has also been the girls A D and a nice lady.As far as West the former coach I knew him too and he was a disgrace as a person,even though he might have been a decent coach.We won’t discuss why he got booted out of the job.As far as principals they need to support the programs. Judy North former principal was at most of the sporting events . Principals move around all of the time. And as far as Bogan ,he had been looking to move on the past two years.
    Be nice to coaches if they got paid by the hour they would make about .50 cents per hour. They don’t do the job for money.

    First off the athletic department was a big a joke to begin with. It was all fun and games when “coach” north was the principal and Bogan was her golden boy. The reason James wasn’t liked is because HE HELD TEACHERS ACCOUNTABLE!!!!! Its quite pathetic that people on here talk like they have the slightest clue on the lack of teaching ability and accountability is over there. mark my words South Hills is headed straight for the cliff.

    I swear I told everyone here this was coming over 2 yrs ago. Most here just laughed and shrugged me off, I told everyone that once Judy left the school was going to get a rude awaking and was going to have to start following the “same” rules as a lot of other schools have.
    Fred anytime you want to know the real truth, just drop me a line. I have been saying this one these boards that SH was in trouble and that Bogan would be gone sooner then later and the school was gonna get a rude awakening. Funny how everyone here blasts a Principle that stands up for what he believes in. I dont even know him and I already know what happened over there.
