I know Bonita beat you last year but you don’t need to run from the rest of the SGV. Are you saying you could not have found a quality local team to play. Why not Glendora, Charter Oak or Damien. Give SH another shot at you. Nice cause, but nobody from valley is going to care about a Saturday morning game vs. a team from LA. You missed the boat on this one.

P.S. Way to go Mt Sac. I am assuming your greed from past years and shady practice of squeezing event organizers for more money caused this game to be moved from your venue.

What a shame…this was a class and highly anticipated game the past 2 years.

That is pretty sad that all you care about is bashing Amat. The team has good intentions on supporting a good cause. If you knew their baseball schedule or the schools around you, you would happen to know that Amat was already scheduled to play Loyola in the Redondo Baseball Tourney. Due to the tourney being cancelled, they still kept the games. If people care about the cause they will show up and give their support no matter who is playing. So next time do your homework a little better and think about what you say before you say it.

if you’re looking for a school with connections and check writing ability i.e. the wherewithal to raise $$$ Loyola HS would be at the top of the list, classy move by Nieto in my book

Loyola (6-1-1) is a solid team in a very strong league. They are also Div. 2 same as the Sierra League. Should be a great test for Amat and see what the Sierra Legue is going against.

Good win Saturday against a very good Loyola Cubs team. Keep working Amat, the National Classic is on the horizon.
