St. Lucy’s beats South Hills, 6-5, in 9-inning Sierra League thriller …

Shannon Kent scored the winning run (this wasn’t it) in the 9th as St. Lucy’s beat South Hills.

St. Lucy’s 6, South Hills 5, 9 inn.:
What can I say? It was a Sierra League thriller. Brandi Harkness delivered the game-winning single to score Shannon Kent in the bottom of the ninth to give the Regents the win in their Sierra League opener. South Hills is now 0-2 in league, but had this game won 5-4 in the eighth and saw it get tied up on an error on what should have been an easy ground out to win/end the game.

Nice picture, but it would have been a better photo if that jersey was tucked in. Sorry, personal pet peeve.

You must be referring to the catcher as well

The photo would have been better if the jersey was tucked in. This is one of the best all around female athletes in the area and I am pretty sure she could care less about your pet peeves. Send a photo of yourself and let us scrutinize it. I bet it’s a beauty.

Unfortunately, instead of celebrating the success of the players put on this blog people always look for a negative. Contempt is the weapon of the weak and a defense against one’s own despised and unwanted feelings. Each picture and article celebrates the success of the so named players, they didn’t get there by accident while more importantly should be recognized for their achievements as that is the purpose of this blog. If not, we would be told about all of the errors, lack of effort, and misgivings of each player especially the one’s with pet peeves.
