Bruin Blitz moderator impressed with Charter Oak receiver Bryce Bobo

Edward Lewis, the moderator of UCLA’s Bruin Blitz website, was asked about a recent 7-on-7 tournament/camp that he attended, and had this to say about Charter Oak’s Bryce Bobo, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound receiver who will be a senior this fall.

“The most underrated guy at the camp that I think UCLA should start taking a long look at was receiver Bryce Bobo from Charter Oak High. He’s got some natural talent and his ball skills are great too.” — Edward Lewis.

  • Jack Austin is much better!

Jack Austin from chino Hills has been offered by Utah, UCLA, Montana St. and I hear Boise is close to offering. Bobo has size but is not very tough and he has an attitude problem. College coaches don’t like headcases unless you run a 4.4 forty.

Don’t know too much about Austin but Bobo gave a heck of an effort against Upland and was a shining star for CO in that game and looked plenty to me . Never heard of any trouble or bad about him . If you want to praise your own fine but not at the expense of another player.
