Aaron Parham transferring from La Habra to South Hills gives the Huskies a much-needed weapon

The 6-foot-2 junior linebacker and receiver for La Habra last year had 14 receptions for 165 yards. With the departure of WR Jamie Canada, Parham gives the Huskies another playmaker …

Fred, please dont compare this kid to Jamie Canada, not even close.

  • Bulldogs have bite

I’m gonna have to second what observantcat said. Canada was a playmaker! He almost single handedly beat us(WC) on his own!

Still this kid looks like a quality pick up for the Huskies!

This kid is going to be a player…M town has to take him serious. If South hills is a few players away from having some quality skills to with that line. This kid is actually transferring up…So it’s going to be a challenge for him. Even tho La Habra played pac 5 teams…the inland is more difficult along with his new league, verses his old league and division.

All that tells me is MTown is nervous. Another year of losing to South Hills and Ayala would be a disaster to Monrovia’s best in the area argument. At best, Monrovia is sixth behind Amat, Charter Oak, West Covina, St. Francis and Chino Hills.

Great size. Like in my last comment…
Farias, Parham, and Santos will be great. Go Huskies!

His Dad was a beast with his devastating hits. Played LB for Bassett in the 80′s at 6’3″ 230lbs…..with Marshawn Thompson and also wore number 5. A great addition for the Huskies. Another kid to look out for his La’ke Aino…this kid is 6’3″ 280Lbs, huge and is also an excellent wrestler which makes him quick on his feet and hands.

May not be a Canada but looks like he has decent hands and good size and maybe more importantly is he looks to be an unselfish team player, you can tell he takes pride in his downfield blocking. Nice pickup for South Hills. Any relation to the Parham South Hills had a couple of years ago? The kid that started out as qb but moved to WR later in tyhe season?

    FredJ,
All this tells me is that a Monrovia victory over South Hills will be even more meaningful, and a loss would be less destructive…if your assessment of Parham is accurate. Is your assessment of Parham accurate? Your convenient rear-view mirror assessment of Monrovia football sure is not.

Of course, there is always the possibility that old Freddy is trying to use reverse psychology in order to motivate Monrovia to stay focused for 15 weeks…

  • VERY Average…..

“The 6-foot-2 junior linebacker” Where are ANY defensive highlights? He looks like a very average Sierra league receiver. He is slow off the ball and most of his highlights were blocking little DB’s. I think there is some wishful thinking going on @ South Hills

WOW!! Did someone say Bassett… lol. I’ve seen this kid run and workout at covina park… He is slow no hip movement and a soft body, maybe he should find a real trainer because his dad is not helping him out.
