Former Walnut High girls soccer standout and two-time East San Gabriel Valley player of the year Nadia Link, a junior at Long Beach State, was named to the NCAA Division I All-American team for the second consecutive year.

Link, a third-team NCAA selection for the second year in a row, also was named the Big West Conference offensive player of the year after scoring 16 goals with 10 assists and helping Long Beach State to its third consecutive NCAA tournament appearance.
