Maxpreps ranks the area’s top 35 boys and girls basketball teams. You might be shocked where some teams are ranked

I’m posting this comment from a reader because it’s a typical complaint we get from fans who want to follow their teams. The lesson here, coaches post your game results and stats …

Wow the DB girls are being ignored this year. Their record on maxpreps is wrong, they are 8-6 not 4-6. I saw their game against Los Altos, and Alabi is a force to be reckoned with. She had 26 points and 26 rebounds, who does that? Although many believe that the girls hacienda league title is a 2-team race, I really believe that Diamond Bar has a good chance at it.” GPrepBball

Fred’s thoughts: Damien should be the top team in my opinion with Chino Hills second and Lutheran third. Glendora should probably be ranked fourth, but the rest is fair.

Fred’s thoughts: Bishop Amat and Bonita are clearly the top teams again, but Diamond Ranch can prove otherwise hosting Bonita in tonight’s huge Hacienda League game at Diamond Ranch. Kind of shocking to see Workman ranked third ahead of undefeated Duarte. That’s a game in the Montview we’ll have to pencil in.

Well they didnt play so HOT in the Ayala tournament!, so i think the juror is still out on DB until a couple of games in league…..They’ve been playing a bit soft, if they toughen up a bit! They can be right there!

Gprepball, maybe you can let the Diamond Bar folks know to update their records online. Makes it much easier to know how teams are doing when games are updates. That goes for everyone.

Hey Fred, you missed the big news in boy’s basketball last night. Diamond Ranch ends Bonita’s 25 game win streak. Where’s the coverage?
