BOYS SOCCER
1. Walnut (8-0-1) — Best on paper, five straight shutouts, outscored opponents 26-3. What more do you want?
2. Damien (6-1-3) – Sierra League favorites after South Hills’ recent non-league collapse.
3. Sierra Vista (8-1-3) — Surprising 1-0 loss to Workman, solid other than that.
4. South Hills (6-3-3) — Lost No. 1 spot after three straight one-goal losses.
5. Diamond Bar (7-3-2) — Jumped out to a quick 2-0 start in the Hacienda.
6. Nogales (6-2) — Remember when the Nobles were national contenders in the 90s?
7. Los Altos (6-5-2) — Has lost several close games, much better than this.
8. Baldwin Park (5-4-1) — Expect the Braves to fight for the VVL title in the end.
9. Bishop Amat (3-3-1) — Solid wins on resume, including 1-0 win over Los Altos
10. Gladstone (6-2) — Who expected the Gladiators to play this well?

GIRLS SOCCER
1. Claremont (14-2-1) — This is a no brainer, they won CIF last year and have a lot of talent back.
2. Charter Oak (9-1-2) — Shocked I’m typing this, but Chargers proved themselves with 1-0 win St. Lucy’s.
3. Bishop Amat (6-3-3) — Finally rounding into form, but not as strong as previous years.
4. Chino Hills (8-2-5) — Could very well compete for the Sierra League title. As explosive as they come.
5. St. Lucy’s (6-3-2) — Shocking isn’t it, four of the top five ranked teams from the Sierra League.
6. Diamond Bar (8-3-2) — School that produced the best American girls player today is taking off.
7. Sierra Vista (9-2-1) — Fact check: Dons girls soccer is the only sport at Sierra Vista to win a CIF team title.
8. Diamond Ranch (5-1) — Schedule easy and not all games posted, but they’ll give Diamond Bar a run in the Hacienda.
9. South Hills (7-2-3) — Poor Huskies, great season, but probably only fifth-best in Sierra.
10. San Dimas (6-4-2) — Saints should be good enough to win VVL, but not as dominant as prior years.
