Damien building a pretty solid season. Sierra Vista is as solid as they come with so much talent all around. Walnut is back to reality after breakdown with West Co. Diamond Bar might be 3rd best in the Hacienda. South Hills will have to play error free soccer to even make the playoffs. Nogales is the new Sherriff in Valle vista. Los Altos has had it tough and with all the expectations on this team im afraid they will fall short this season. Baldwin Park so much talent not being put to good use. Claremont will fight to the end to knock off SH for the 3rd spot in the Sierra. Azusa always plays tough but with the Montview being so even on the playing field (Sierra Vista is the exception) you never know which team will step up.

The #1 curse strikes again with Damien losing to South Hills 3-2. Sierra Vista goes 2-0 this week with tough wins over Azusa and Workman. South Hills shows they are a team to be reckon with. Baldwin Park trying to salvage their season. Walnut bouncing back quite well after West Co breakdown.

One of the biggest dissapointments this year has been LP. Once recognized as a contender for the Montview league title and a deep run in CIF. They are 0-7 in league and things dont look like they are going to get better. The inconsistency of Los Altos continues and that might hurt their chances of making the playoffs. Nogales is on its way to a Valle Vista title and Baldwin Park doesnt seem to be coming together to be able to stop them.

DONT COUNT THEM OUT JUST YET. THEY BEAT NOGALES 5-2 @ NOGALES. SO THERE STILL HANGING IN THERE. WE’LL JUST SEE HOW THEY DO IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO.

Baldwin Park has a big game tomorrow vs Pomona which has there # in the few past years. If they get passed them then maybe they can be contenders.

Baldwin Park loses to Pomona 1-0. Not only is Nogales on the driver seat but Pomona is riding shotgun and looking to get second place in league

My top 10..#1 Sierra Vista- The team with the best chance in winning a CIF title. #2 Walnut- Looks like the loss to West Co put them back on track. #3 Diamond Bar- Playing well when it counts. #4 Damien- Good team but missing something in order to be a great team. #5 Nogales- Even with the loss to BP still in control of its own destiny in the Valle Vista. #6 South Hills- one word “inconsistency” might be left out of CIF if it keeps it up. #7 Los Altos- Big week for them! Lets see how they respond. #8 Azusa- Better than what there record shows. #9 Claremont- Needs to prove they belong with the top teams. #10 Pomona- Not the team we are used to seeing but always competitive.
