Chaminade 59, Damien 48 Sophomore Jeremy Hemsley scored a game-high 21 points, but Chaminade’s length was too much. Chaminade’s Justin Eisen sparked the Eagles in the first and fourth quarters and finished with a team-high 16 points to lead Chaminade to a 59-46 victory over Damien.
Division IV
Pacific Hills 63, La Verne Lutheran 56 La Verne Lutheran’s boys basketball team, a squad that had two returning players on a roster of eight this season, saw its dream of a CIF State Division IV championship come to an end Saturday at Chaffey College.
Pacific Hills of West Hollywood got 28 points from Jahmel Taylor and 16 from Marcus Jackson in a 63-56 victory in a Southern California regional second-round game.

Girls Basketball Division 1
Bishop Amat 50, Narbonne 39 It was the experienced Bishop Amat squad that put a stop to Narbonne’s season, as the Gauchos watched the visiting Lancers hit 29 of their 38 free throws, including 19 of 24 in the fourth quarter, en route to a 50-39 win in a CIF State Southern California Regional Division I second-round game.
