Nogales athletic director Bruce Alley will serve as interim head coach for the Nobles in the wake of former coach Sebastian Hernandez leaving last week.
Alley, a former star quarterback and basketball player at Northview, has served in the past as the team’s offensive coordinator.
Nogales, which returns five key seniors, begins the season Aug. 30 at intra-district rival Rowland.
