Hacienda, Valle Vista and Montview League football predictions

With three competitive area football league’s beginning this week, here is my prediction of how it will all shake out.

9-13-13 NORTHVIEW05

VALLE VISTA LEAGUE
Reason I’m either going to feel like a genius or have no shot at this, but I like Northview to beat San Dimas on Friday and run the table in the VVL. Just feel like this is the Vikings’ time. I like the Saints to finish second with unbeatens Baldwin Park and Pomona third and fourth respectively.
Prediction: 1. Northview (4-0), 2. San Dimas (0-4), 3. Baldwin Park (4-0), 4. Pomona (4-0), 5. Covina (2-2), 6. Wilson (1-3), 7. Nogales (1-3).

broadusHACIENDA LEAGUE
Reason I know Diamond Bar isn’t the popular choice, but I love how they dismantled San Dimas and routed Brea Olinda. Their only loss was to 4-0 Norwalk, no big deal. Every game is tough in the Hacienda, but I like the Brahmas to win out when all said and done. Los Altos and Diamond Ranch will likely battle for second and third with Bonita edging West Covina for fourth place. Wow, can’t believe I predicted the Bulldogs to finish fifth.
Prediction: 1. Diamond Bar (3-1), 2. Los Altos (4-0), 3. Diamond Ranch (3-1), 4. Bonita (3-1), 5. West Covina (2-2), 6. Rowland (2-2), 7. Walnut (1-3).

azusacelebrationMONTVIEW LEAGUE
Reason I like what Azusa’s done in competitive losses, especially against Arcadia. Also, none of their opponents have losing records. La Puente and Duarte should battle for the league title too, but I’m going with the experienced coaching staff at Azusa to pull it out. However, I won’t be surprised if Duarte or La Puente, the only two teams with a chance at a league title, give Azusa all it can handle.
Prediction: 1. Azusa (1-2), 2. La Puente (2-1), 3. Duarte (1-2), 4. Sierra Vista (1-2), 5. Workman (2-1), 6. Gladstone (1-2), 7. Ganesha (1-2), 8. Bassett (0-3).
