Diamond Bar’s Cordell Broadus checked out before the Holidays … any idea where he will emerge next?

Diamond Bar wide receiver and bigtime recruit Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, checked out of Diamond Bar before the Holiday break with rumors swirling that he might end up at state champion St. John Bosco. Now that school is back in session, where is Broadus going? Your guess is as good as ours. TMZ started the St. John Bosco rumor and also noted that Broadus wants to stay close to home .. but where could he transfer without changing addresses? Wherever he winds up, I’m curious how Diamond Bar will handle it. Will they challenge it with CIF, or choose to do nothing? Coach Ryan Maine is already quoted as saying, “He (Broadus) told me that he wants to play for a bigger school to get him ready for college.” How do you avoid challenging a transfer when you’re already on record basically saying his move is athletically motivated? Guess we’ll find out soon enough.

2 words, Who Cares. It’s time for us to turn page. I hope that whoever Mr Broadus goes that he finds the challenges he is looking for.

if they can prove his move is athletically motivated wherever he goes he will not be able to play anyways, so he screwed himself over, no?

Not if Snoop daddy buys a house in the enrollment area of his new school and he “moves” there.

We all know the why, It’s actually going be for the better in the long run for Dbar. They will lose some of their bad boy image that seems to follow them. This image wasn’t caused by him, but others who bought into all the hype that surrounded the program. I do feel kind of sorry for Hull though, he basically gave up his junior year to play with his buddy.
Even if they were to buy a house and move into the area, he could still be declared ineligible to play. His paperwork still would have to be signed off by Dbar. But I don’t see DB fighting this move, and I’m sure the district doesn’t want anymore TMZ reports out there.

Thought by being at Long Beach Poly he was at bigger school already , PAC-5 and a yearly playoff team . What is so different now that he needs a bigger school to ready himself for college. I guess DB isn’t big enough to ready him for D-1 college ball ????????
