PREVIEW: Damien and Glendora high schools have been two of the area’s marquee boys basketball programs over the years and the two former rivals will take center stage at this weekend’s Southern California Shootout.
The 12th annual event will feature nine games and is scheduled for Saturday at Azusa Pacific University’s Felix Event Center.
Glendora and Damien will play back-to-back games, with the Tartans facing Del Rio League power California at 4:30 p.m., which will be followed by the Spartans meeting Mission Viejo at 6 p.m.
