The Workman boys basketball team showed why it has won four of the last five Montview League championships by coming from 10 points behind in the second half to beat Gladstone 52-46 in overtime Friday night. The win kept the Lobos (12-5, 5-0) tied with La Puente atop the league standings. It was the first league loss for the Gladiators and only their second loss of the season. The Gladiators (13-2, 4-1) sent the game into overtime with a last-second shot by Ben Reaves, but the Lobos started overtime with back-to-back 3-pointers by Alan Matro and J.P. Rodriguez and went on to win.
