Northview girls wrestling hoping to repeat as state champs Posted on February 14, 2014 by Fred Robledo By Steve Ramirez Northview High School won its first CIF State girls wrestling championship last season, and judging by a recent performance, the Vikings look like favorites to repeat. Northview, well-known as the top boys program in the area over the past two decades, takes another step toward consecutive titles at this weekend’s CIF-Southern Section finals, scheduled for Saturday at Roosevelt High School in Corona. Opening rounds are scheduled for 10 a.m., with the finals slated for 6:15 p.m. The top eight in each weight class qualify for the state championships, scheduled for Feb. 28-March 1 in Visalia
