Where is former Charter Oak RB Adam Muema? He hasn’t been seen since leaving NFL combine because God told him to do it and saying he would play for Super Bowl champion Seattle

“All I can say is I’m reading the reports just like everybody else is,” veteran Charter Oak coach Lou Farrar said. “This is different from the Adam I knew and saw everyday here on campus. He never walked away from any responsibility.”

Muema

The unusual behavior of former Charter Oak High School running back Adam Muema, who left the NFL Scouting Combine last weekend without working out after saying he was “following God” has become rapidly more concerning to his former high school coaches and longtime friends.

Muema, who was this newspaper’s Player of the Year in 2009 after a stellar prep career, starred in college at San Diego St. before declaring for the NFL Draft last fall as a junior.

Nobody has seen Muema since last weekend when he left Indianapolis, Ind. where the NFL Scouting Combine is held. He said that by not participating in the workouts he would realize his dream of playing for the Seattle Seahawks. He also said God told him to sit down and enjoy the peace.
