The Huskies wreapped up the Mingo Bay Classic with their fifth win to claim the championship, defeating Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, 9-0. Frank Ramirez, who was named tournament MVP, went 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles and RBIs. Gavin Velasquez threw four scoreless innings with eight strikeouts and just one hit allowed to earn the win, improving to 3-1. Marcus Campos pitched two innings in relief and tallied three hits. Johnny Dearth threw the final inning to complete the shutout for the Huskies, who belted outs 12 hits to improve to 12-1-1
