Softball Rankings: South Hills and freshman newbie pitcher Natalie Lugo lead the way

lugoTribune Softball Rankings
1. South Hills (11-3) — Hearing freshman pitcher Natalie Lugo is the real deal. She’s already verbally committed to Florida and is 7-1 with a 0.25 ERA.
2. Bishop Amat (11-4) — Already 4-1 in the Del Rey. As pitching improves so does its record.
3. Glendora (10-4) — Won San Dimas tournament and hoping to make a run at the Baseline League title.
4. Bonita (7-3) — Clearly the favorite to win the Hacienda after opening with a win over West Covina.
5. Charter Oak (10-4) – Can beat anyone, but also loses a surprising game here and there.
6. West Covina (8-5) – Hit and miss. When Bulldogs are on they’re really on. When they’re not, they’re not.
7. San Dimas (7-6) – Best team in the watered-down Valle Vista.
8. Los Altos (6-4) — Already 2-0 in the Hacienda.
9. St. Lucy’s (6-7-1) – Advanced to the finals of the Northview tournament with a young squad.
1-. Edgewood (9-1) — My alma mater has some hitters and is already gearing up for 2015 in the new Miramonte.

sentimental pick on the 4th rank Bonita? The Hacienda league is watered down this year as well, Bonita looks like last season team. Good luck on the rest of your season. New coach was left with a pretty good team!
