    Softball league champions:

Baseline: Los Osos. There is a chance for Etiwanda to split the championship but Osos would have to lose to Glendora in order for that to have a chance of happening. I don’t see it happening like that. If somehow they do lose to Glendora, it’s going to come down to their matchup together on the last day of the regular season. If Etiwanda would win, it’d create a split championship with Etiwanda going as the #1. If Osos would win, they’d win it outright.

Del Rey: It is St. Paul’s outright championship to lose. They’ve already clinched the #1 seed out of the Del Rey league but can create a split championship if they lose to Bishop Montgomery and La Salle. I don’t see them losing either game. When they beat Bishop Montgomery today, they’ll keep the title to themselves.

Hacienda: This league championship race is the most entertaining in the area. There are so many possibilities. FACT: Either Los Altos or West Covina WILL win at least a share of the league title. FACT: If Bonita beats Diamond Ranch, they will win a share of the league title. If Bonita loses to Diamond Ranch, the winner of the West Covina/Los Altos game will win the title outright.

Mission Valley: Arroyo’s win over South El Monte yesterday made this title chase more interesting. If both teams win on Thursday, there will be a split title between Arroyo and South El Monte with Arroyo going as the #1 seed into the playoffs (2-1 series win over S. El Monte). If one wins and the other loses, the winner will win the title outright.

Montview: Sierra Vista is already the outright champions of the Montview League with a 14-0 record.

Sierra: Chino Hills won the league title again. This is 4 years in a row now. Will have a tougher time in the Baseline League next season. Moving up to Division 1 next year.

Valle Vista: Just like Chino Hills, San Dimas won the Valle Vista League title again. It’s been 6 years in a row now.
