Angel Verdugo rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns and the Bonita High School football team scored its second consecutive win over rival San Dimas with a 23-14 victory at Citrus College.
Quarterback Cody Brazzill accounted for 159 yards for the Bearcats, who improved to 4-1.
Bobby Rios rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown for San Dimas, which slipped to 4-2.
Garrett Deane, after Bonita converted a key fourth down with a 20-yard pass from Brazzill to Danny Gelalich, kicked a 24-yard field with 1:33 lef to clinch it.

Angel Verdugo: “It’s a big deal, but we treat it as any other game. We just came out here and played our game. We listened to our coaches and came out with a big win.”
