San Dimas volleyball overcoming coaching change

The San Dimas High School volleyball season could have been acrimonious.
Two games into the season and a day before a match against rival Bonita, fist-year coach Travis Dancer abruptly left the program.
But the Saints (10-5) have not missed a beat. They knocked off the Bearcats in four games and have gone 8-5 since. They won their Valle Vista League opener against Nogales and face visiting Covina on Thursday.
“We have an awesome team,” coach Nicki Bonomo said. “We’re pretty well versed to adversity and they’ve done a good job. It has not been tough at all.”
