Tribune Super 32 Football Rankings: Bishop Amat, Glendora, Northview and Charter Oak top four

This is what it’s like to be part of Bishop Amat football

TRIBUNE TOP TEN FOOTBALL RANKINGS
1. Bishop Amat (6-3) — Has a chance to go into the playoffs on a five-game win streak and share of Mission League title. If it loses, there’s a possibility of falling into a three-way tie for second and coin flip for two playoff spots.
2. Glendora (8-1) — Nobody has tested the Tartans in the Palomares and don’t expect South Hills to do it either. Should head to playoffs as league champs and Central’s No. 1 seed.
3. Northview (9-1) — After routing San Dimas and Covina on its way to the Valle Vista League title, you have to love their playoff chances.
4. Charter Oak (5-4) — Never thought a couple weeks ago I’d be writing that all the Chargers need to do is beat Chino in the finale to clinch a piece of the Hacienda and the league’s No. 1 playoff seed.
5. West Covina (6-3) — Charter Oak exposed the Bulldogs’ secondary, but Bulldogs can still claim a piece of the title with a win at Diamond Ranch.
6. Pomona (5-4) — Only two losses on the field because of two forfeits and arguably a better chance to win the Mid-Valley than Northview.
7. South Hills (5-4) — Best story of the year, rebounding from four straight embarrassing losses to four straight wins and game for all the marbles vs. Glendora on Thursday for the Palomares title.
8. Diamond Ranch (6-3) — A win over West Covina gets the Panthers in the playoffs — a loss and they start scoreboard watching needing help to get in.
9. San Dimas (6-3) — Will end of finishing second and will be the team nobody wants to face in the Mid-Valley playoffs. They’re still the champ until someone knocks them off.
10. Bonita (6-3) — Pretty simple, beat Claremont and the ‘Cats are in the playoffs. Lose, and cross your fingers.
THE REST: 11. Damien (4-5); 12. Covina (5-4); 13. Rosemead (5-4); 14. Los Altos (4-5); 15. La Puente (6-3), 16. Azusa (6-3); 17. Baldwin Park (5-4); 18. Diamond Bar (3-6); 19. El Monte (5-4); 20.
