2. Sierra Vista (10-1-2) – Crushing 5-2 win over Baldwin Park. They should own Montview again.
3. Damien (10-3-2) — Beat Etiwanda 4-0, lost 2-1 to Chino Hills
4. La Puente (8-0-3) – Tied a good Garey squad, but still undefeated.
5. Bishop Amat (3-0-4) – Very impressive 4-4 tie vs. Cathedral to open league play. Not reporting all scores, so a wait and see
6. Diamond Ranch (7-4-3) – Absolutely crushes Charter Oak 5-1, then losses to Walnut 1-0. In reality, I’ve got Charter Oak and Diamond Ranch ranked when maybe Walnut deserves it.
7. Ganesha (11-2-3) – Showdown as its hosts La Puente on Tuesday.
8. Mountain View (4-4-3) — Good 4-0-1 start in the MVL, tied for first with El Monte
9. El Monte (7-5-2) — Back-to-back shutout victories, tied for first at 4-0-1.
10. Charter Oak (12-3-2) — Embarrassing loss to Diamond Ranch, but can prove it belongs with Walnut up next.
