Ayala 13, Bonita 12
— Ayala handed the Bearcats their first Palomares League loss in seven games. Sawyer Belville had six goals for Ayala. Amanda Legaspi led Bonita in scoring with seven goals. Rachel Garwick had five saves for the Bearcats.
Charter Oak 15, Walnut 4 — The Chargers picked up a Hacienda League victory over Walnut with six goals from Sara Adams, who also had two assists and four steals. Katie Fugit added four goals, five assists, and seven steals for Charter Oak, while Devynn Stein added three goals and three assists. In goal, Samantha Wilson had seven saves, while holding the Mustangs to just four goals. Walnut was led by Erin D’Anda, who had two goals.

Covina 2, San Dimas 1
— The Colts earned a Valle Vista League victory over the Saints by one goal. San Dimas’ only goal came on a corner kick from Cheyenne Cepeda, which was headed into the back of the net by Samantha Galan.
Rowland 1, Wilson 0 — The Raiders got a goal from Edith Mejia to defeat Wilson in a Valle Vista League contest. Rowland in now 6-2 in league.

St. Lucy’s water polo falls to Los Osos: The first time the girls water polo teams from St. Lucy’s and Los Osos squared off, the Grizzlies won, but by just one goal.
The most recent showdown was close for a half, but Los Osos, the perennial CIF title contender, scored six unanswered goals to start the third quarter and went on to a 15-12 win Thursday in a Baseline League contest.
The win secured a 10th straight league title for the Grizzlies (19-8, 9-0), and a win against Chino Hills in its final league game on Tuesday would make it seven years the Grizzlies have won league without dropping a game.
