STORY: It may have been the best eight minutes of basketball in Workman High School’s season.
The Lobos scored 39 points, created 15 turnovers and made 12 of 21 shots in the third quarter to turn their Montview League showdown against visiting Duarte into a rout. Workman went from a 12-point halftime lead to a lead of 46 points after three quarters en route to a 93-35 victory on Friday night.
