BOYS SOCCER STORY: Area boys soccer teams started making postseason plans following the CIF-Southern Section pairings on Monday.
No area teams earned top seeds and in tough Division 3, only Baseline league champ Damien will not have to play a wild card to get into the first round.
Instead, Damien will host the winner of Wednesday’s wild card between Glendale and Yucaipa in the first round on Friday.
In Division 3 wild cards Wednesday, Glendora is home against Beckman, but the winner will have to take on top seed Cathedral, a nationally recognized program and heavy favorite to win it all.
