South Hills 1, San Dimas 0 — Natalie Lugo was the winning pitcher, striking out 10, Clarissa Perez went 2 for 3 with an RBI and two singles and Sasha Allen went 2 for 4 with two singles to lead the Huskies (8-3) to the nonleague victory. Lindsey Hughes struck out 10, Davina Doran went 2 for 4 with two singles and Brooke Jackson had a triple for San Dimas (6-7).
St. Lucy’s 12, Maranatha 2 — Grazia Watkins was the winning pitcher and went 2 for 3 with four RBIs and two home runs and Alyssa Avalos went 4 for 5 with a triple to lead the Regents (4-4) to the nonleague victory.
Nogales 9, Baldwin Park 8 — Lisette Rosales went 3 for 3 for the Nobles (9-2) in a nonleague win.
Baseball
Southlands Christian 3, Lutheran 2 — James Goodwin pitched seven innings, striking out 11, and Daniel Scribner and Matt Murrieta each had an RBI to lead the Eagles (5-4) to their first San Joaquin League victory.
Sierra Vista 6, Gladstone 0 — The Dons (6-4, 2-1) beat the Gladiators (4-1, 2-1) for the Montview League win.
