Baseball Rankings: San Dimas easy choice at No. 1; South Hills, Bonita, Glendora follow

bonitab
1. San Dimas (18-0) — Won third tournament title last week and is undefeated and chasing history with the 10-game Valle Vista league to close out the regular season. Just watch and enjoy.
2. South Hills (11-5) — Beat Bonita and then got no-hit in eight innings by Glendora’s Austin Isenhart in a 1-0 loss. If there is a chink in the Huskies’ armor, it’s their run production.
3. Bonita (12-5) — Beat Glendora then lost to South Hills and is 3-2 in a Palomares league that will likely go down to the wire.
4. Glendora (14-5) — Austin Isenhart’s no-no against South Hills might have been a season saver, allowing the Tartans at 2-3 to stay close to the league leaders.
5. Bishop Amat (9-7-1) — The Lancers are tied for first with Cathedral at 3-1 and host Cathedral on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.
6. Wilson (11-3) — Been a good non-league season but now it starts league with a home-and-home against Covina starting on Tuesday.
7. Sierra Vista (9-4) — Has won four straight and is 4-1 in the Montview league and added a huge pitcher in West Covina transfer Anthony Deeter, who is eligible after finishing the sit-out period.
8. Nogales (11-6) — Has back-to-back games against Rowland and is hoping to build some momentum heading into next week’s showdown with two against No. 1 San Dimas.
9. Diamond Bar (9-8) — If the Brahmas want to be among the best in the Palomares they have to play well with a pair against South Hills this week.
10. Arroyo (6-3) – Early leader in the Mission Valley League with a 3-0 start, but hard to tell how good it is with such an easy schedule.
