1. Bishop Amat (12-5) — The Lancers are undefeated in the Del Rey, but were overmatched against one of the best teams in the state, Orange Lutheran, losing 18-4. Still, they move to No. 1 with South Hills’ upset loss to Bonita.
2. South Hills (12-5) – Falls from top spot its held since the season preview following a shocking 2-1 loss to Bonita to fall a game behind Glendora in the Palomares.
3. Charter Oak (11-7) — After getting routed by Chino the Chargers took it out on Diamond Ranch, 10-0. Hey, everyone know the Hacienda is a race for second behind Chino anyway.
4. Glendora (15-5) – The Tartans lead the Palomares at 2-0 with games against Claremont and Diamond Bar next.
5. Edgewood (11-0) — I realize the Miramonte isn’t that strong, but when is the last time you remember someone shutting out the entire league for an entire season? That’s what Edgewood has done so far. It’s 7-0 and has outscored its opponents 125-0.
6. Diamond Bar (11-6) — The Brahmas beat Glendora in its own tournament but can it do it again this week when it matters in league?
7. Bonita (7-8) — After losing in extra innings to Glendora, the Bearcats upset top-ranked South Hills 2-1 and is now in good position to battle for playoff spots while keeping themselves in the hunt for the league title.
8. West Covina (12-8) — The Bulldogs are 2-0 and tied for first in the Hacienda, but now it gets defending CIF champ Chino on Tuesday to break the tie for first.
9. San Dimas (11-8) — The Saints are tied for first in the Valle Vista with Covina, whom they will host on Wednesday to break the tie.
10. Covina (11-6) — The only team with a chance to beat San Dimas in league gets the Saints on Wednesday. Both are 2-0 in the VVL.
