Pomona 10, Bassett 3 — Daniel Guzman was the winning pitcher, striking out nine, and went 2 for 3 with a double and Christopher Villalobos had a triple and a double to lead the Red Devils (13-10, 8-6) to the Miramonte league victory. Also contributing to Pomona’s win were German Perez who went 2 for 3, Johnny Quinones who had three singles and Elias Jauragui who had two singles. Jonathan Torres went 2 for 4 for Bassett (5-12, 2-12).
Bonita 4, Ayala 2 — Erik Cha struck out nine, Tim Turpen went 2 for 3 with a double and Daniel Ramirez had a triple and an RBI for the Bulldogs (14-12, 7-6) in a Palomares League loss against Bonita (20-8, 8-5).

Softball
Nogales 16, Northview 5 — Chase Martinez was the winning pitcher, allowed two hits, Macie Lewis went 3 for 4 with a homer, and Julianna Percell had two home runs and eight RBIs for the Nobles (14-7, 4-4) in a Valle Vista League victory.
Glendora 7, Claremont 2 — Cambria Keefer was the winning pitcher, striking out four, and Morgan Cutler had a home run for the Tartans (20-6, 7-1) in a Palomares League win. Glendora’s Kayla Sok had a triple and Taylor Tetone, Hailey Mollno and Emilee Cain each had a double. Kalena Jimenez had a double for Claremont (9-10, 2-7).
Ayala 1, South Hills 0 — Sasha Allen went 3 for 3 with a double for the Huskies (16-7, 5-3) in a Palomares League loss.
